YORK, Pa. — A number of York restaurants are mixing up specialty cocktails this week for York City Drink Week.
Revival Social Club has a number of never-before-seen drinks in their lineup this week, including:
- Up in Smoke: Don Q pineapple, Don Q spiced rum, smoked coconut, pineapple, lime
- Campfire Sour: Bulleit, hickory simple, lemon, lime, egg white, marshmallow bitters
- It's Corn!: Oaxaca washed tequila, roasted corn syrup, mole bitters
- Back Porch Swing: Hendricks, Pimms, strawberry, cucumber, house limeade
- Millions of Peaches: Ketal One Peach Blossom, raspberry bubbles
"We just got our menu for fall," Jessica Ayala, owner of Revival Social Club, said. "So a lot of pumpkin, apple, maple, spices, but we really love the summer cocktails, so we weren't quite ready to let them go just yet."
Beverage director Emily Crockett says the Campfire Sour tends to scare some people off since it contains egg, but there's nothing to fear.
"Egg whites are my favorite kinds of cocktails," she said. "They're very, very traditional. It's essentially brined or cooked with the lemon juice in it, so it's completely safe."
York City Drink Week runs through Saturday, Sept. 28. For a full list of participating restaurants, click here.
Revival Social Club can be found at 19 N. George St. in downtown York and is open Tuesday - Friday from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Saturday from 4:30 - 10 p.m.
