Dutch Wonderland welcomes families for its new back-to-school event

The family theme park is featuring meet and greets with characters from the PBS KIDS' show Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood from Aug. 16 through Aug. 25.

LANCASTER, Pa. — Summer vacation is coming to a close with many kids heading back to school this month. But, that doesn't mean the summer fun doesn't have to end!

Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster County is welcoming families to the park for a brand-new back-to-school event.

Their back-to-school days feature meet and greets with characters from the PBS KIDS' show Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.

Dutch Wonderland says that Daniel Tiger and his neighborhood friend Katerina Kittycat will be at the park every single day from Aug. 16 through Aug. 25 just in time to gear up for the first day of school.

The park’s all-new back-to-school event will also feature character dining with Daniel Tiger and his neighborhood friend, Katerina Kittycat, story time, and bubble dance parties.

Dutch Wonderland says in order to get the most out of the rest of the park’s 2024 season, visitors can purchase a 2025 Season Pass now and get the rest of the year free plus all of next year.

Select Season Passes are on sale now for up $60 off and include unique perks including free parking, in-park discounts, free and discounted Bring-a-Friend tickets, early ride time and special events.
