YORK COUNTY, Pa. — The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales are coming to York County next week to help out with a number of community events.
In a partnership with Brewery Products, the horses are stabled at Flinchbaugh’s Orchards & Farm Market, where the community can see them during public viewing hours.
"Last time they were here in 2022 was the first time at Flinchbaugh's, and I don't think we'll ever go anywhere else," Vicki Jeffers, event coordinator with Brewery Products, said.
The Clydesdales' engagements for the week include:
- Tuesday
- Public viewing at Flinchbaugh's from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Wednesday
- Public viewing at Flinchbaugh's from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Brewery Products will present a Folds of Honor scholarship, which is for spouses and children of fallen or disabled military or first responders, to a Hanover resident.
- Live music by The Wyatt Becker Band starting at 5:30 p.m.
- The Clydesdales will hitch and parade around the farm.
- Public viewing at Flinchbaugh's from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Thursday
- Public viewing at Flinchbaugh's from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- One horse will be at the Shrewsbury Fireman’s Carnival from 5-7 p.m.
- Friday
- Public viewing at Flinchbaugh's from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- The full Clydesdale Hitch will march in the Veteran and First Responders Parade in Dallastown. The parade steps off at 6 p.m. and will travel from South Pleasant Street to East Main Steet.
- Saturday
- Public viewing and Firemen and First Responders Carnival at Flinchbaugh's from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. There will be family activities, games, clowns and first responders including K9s and mounted police with their draft horses.
- Sunday
- Public viewing at Flinchbaugh's from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
There will be food trucks, wagon rides and yard games available for guests during all public viewing hours at Flinchbaugh's. Beer sales will be available every day except Sunday.
"It's nice to see the kids see them for the first time," Jeffers said. "Or what we do see a lot is either parents/grandparents are bringing their children/grandchildren because they saw them as a child."
