Former President Donald Trump will speak at the Great American Outdoor Show

This will be Trump's first visit back to the Keystone State since last summer.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Former President Donald Trump will be arriving at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex on Friday night to serve as the keynote speaker for the Great American Outdoor Show.

Trump’s appearance on Friday at 5 p.m. will mark the start of his 2024 presidential campaign in Pennsylvania. His last appearance in the Commonwealth was in Erie County last summer.

Trump lost Dauphin County to President Biden in the 2020 election. While Trump won the surrounding counties in south central Pennsylvania, the race was much closer in the 2020 election compared to 2016.

Trump's appearance on Friday will give him a chance to strengthen his rural Pennsylvania base in the heat of the 2024 presidential election.

Admission to his speech is free with the purchase of a Great American Outdoor Show ticket.

Seating will be on a first-come, first-seated basis.

The U.S. Secret Service will control security within the Large Arena and will require attendees to be screened through magnetometers before entry. Firearms, firearm accessories, knives and other items will not be allowed inside. A full list of banned items can be found here

There will be no storage available for firearms.

Guests are also strongly advised not to bring bags to help with a timely security process.
