Father's Day was first celebrated in Spokane, Washington in 1910. It would not be declared a national holiday until over half a century later, but today, children and dads everywhere are familiar with the celebration.
In 2024, Father's Day will fall on June 16. Here are events and deals being offered around Pennsylvania to help make dad feel loved.

- Baskin-Robbins has two special ice cream cakes available for Father's Day: a golf-themed "Best Dad by Par" round cake and a beer-mug-shaped "Cold One Cake." Those ordering online can receive $5 off their ice cream cake purchase of $35+ with code DAD at checkout until June 15.
- Bonefish Grill will celebrate dads with curated specials: a 16-ounce Bourbon Glazed Ribeye with Tempura Shrimp and a Jefferson's Ocean Old Fashioned. Reservations can be made online.
- Duck Donuts is offering a 12-pack for dad's to sink their teeth into. The Dad Dozen and Half Dozen are available now through June 16 and feature an all-new, limited-time bourbon caramel drizzle donut Participating locations across central Pennsylvania include 2097 Fruitville Pike in Lancaster, 261 West Chocolate Ave. in Hershey and 6230 Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg.
- Krispy Kreme is offering a 10 count of doughnut dots to dads for $1 when you buy any dozen. The 10-count doughnut dots are available now through June 16 and feature new flavors powdered, sprinkled, cinnamon and cookie crumb.
- Red Robin has two dine-in only deals for Father's Day: $5.99 Red's signature Margarita and kid's meals are 50% off.
- Wendys is celebrating dads with a buy one get one baconators when purchased through their app.
- The Art of Shaving is helping dads save 30% site wide for Father's Day and adding free 2-day shipping with orders over $150.
- IHOP is offering several deals for Father's Day, including 20% off your first online order with code IHOP20 and a free $5 gift card when you purchase a $25 one.

The family-friendly museum at Children of Gettysburg 1863 is offering complimentary tickets to dads on June 16. Accompanying kids will be invited to craft a special Father's Day card. The museum is located at 451 Baltimore Street.
Cumberland County
Mechanicsburg
The Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association will host a free Father's Day Cruise-In at 1 Steam Engine Hill from 8 a.m. - noon on June 16. There will also be an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast available for purchase.
Dauphin County

SpringGate Vineyard is hosting two events for dad over Father's Day weekend.
- Estate Father's Day Brunch Buffet
- Families can enjoy a brunch buffet with food from Chef Tony's Bistro from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on June 16. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time at the link above. Each ticket purchase is valid for two people and includes access to the buffet for both guests, one bottle of SpringGate Mimosa, Sparkling Rénové or a 32-ounce Belgian Blonde Crowler to share, and access to the coffee bar.
- Bourbon, Beer, and Bacon
- This weekend-long event is for dads to relax with a special Father's Day drink in hand. There will be live music and food trucks at the Vineyard each day. Admission is free.
Hershey
All dads can enjoy free admission to Hershey Gardens from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on June 16.
Franklin County
Waynesboro
Families can admire vehicles of every shape and size with dad at the Father’s Day Weekend Car & Truck Show on June 15. Vehicles will line Main Street from Broad to Potomac Streets from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Organizers say they have expanded the show grounds this year. There will be food vendors and live music. Admission is free.
Juniata County
Mifflintown
June 14 - 16 is Father's Day Weekend at Buttonwood Campground! Families are invited out for special activities and discounts, like dads getting a free wristband with the purchase of a children's one. The campground is located at 1515 E. River Rd.
Lancaster County
Elizabethtown
This one is for the dads! LIV-ETown, Elizabethtown Area Chamber of Commerce and Elizabethtown Rotary are sponsoring the fourth annual Strawberry Social in honor of Father's Day on June 16. The community is invited out to Elizabethtown Borough Park from 1 - 6 p.m. for food trucks, live music, entertainment and more. Free activities include pie and cupcake eating contests, a "red and wild" outfit contest, face painting, a bounce house and more. Attendees are encouraged to wear all red.
Manheim
Dads can play any package for free at Laserdome, located at 2050 Auction Road, on June 16. The family fun center offers laser tag, arcade and carnival games, a snack bar and more. Reservations are recommended to minimize wait times.
Mount Joy
Dads are invited to celebrate Father's Day with their families at Grandview Vineyard on June 16 from noon - 6 p.m. Wine and local beer flights will be available, along with a light food menu. Families are also welcome to bring a picnic lunch.
Lebanon County
Myerstown
Lebanon Valley Golf Club invites pairs out for a Father’s Day Weekend 2-Man Scramble at 10 a.m. on June 15. The tournament is geared towards partners that are connected through family, such as father-son, step grandfather–step grandson, uncle–niece, etc. There will be a pulled pork lunch and prizes after the round. Teams must sign up online by June 10.
Palmyra
Lawn Fire Company will serve a Father's Day Biker Breakfast from 7 - 11 a.m. on June 16. The breakfast will be all-you-can-eat for $15.
Mifflin County
Belleville
Brookmere Winery will celebrate dads with a buffet brunch on Father's Day. Timeslots are available every half hour from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. JT Blues will play the piano from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Tickets must be bought in advance.
Perry County
Duncannon
Buddy Boy Winery and Vineyard is making dad a dinner of fire-roasted prime rib on June 15 and 16. The meals will be available from noon until close both days, but reservations and pre-payment are required. The winery can be contacted at 717-834-5606.
Liverpool
Ferryboat Campsites has a weekend of Father's Day fun planned. With activities like a metal workshop, bingo, cornhole tournament, live music and more, families are invited out to celebrate dad all weekend.

Dallastown
Wyndridge Farm will host its third annual Father's Day Car Show & Festival from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 16. Admission is free. There will be food trucks, kids activities and live music in addition to the cars. To register a car, fill out this form and pay the $20 fee.
