MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — A tradition 94 years in the making will return to Mechanicsburg tomorrow.
The 94th annual Jubilee Day will kick off at 10 a.m. on June 20 on Main Street, from York Street to Walnut Street, and on Market Street, from Simpson Street to Strawberry Avenue. A festival map is available here.
"Anything that you can deep fry or shove on a stick, you can have here," Jeff Palm, the executive director for the Mechanicsburg Chamber of Commerce, said at last year's event. "It's like going to the beach or the boardwalk without having to clean the sand out of your shoes."
Hundreds of vendors will offer food, drinks, games, crafts, live entertainment, a petting zoo and more.
Parking is available at Immanuel Church, located at 800 S. Market St., and Masonic Lodge Eureka-West Shore, located at 910 S. Market St. A free shuttle bus service will be offered from those locations. Shuttle service runs from 10:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. Attendees will be dropped off at the corner of Simpson and Market Streets.
Due to the large crowds and safety concerns, pets and bicycles are not allowed.
