YORK COUNTY, Pa. — Editors note: The attached video is from a Feb. 1 broadcast.
A neighborhood-style farmers market in York County is preparing big deals and events for one weekend in March.
Leg Up Farmers Market in Manchester Township is gearing up for a "Grand Reopening" event March 23-24 beginning at 11 a.m. The store promises the reopening will feature expanded departments, amazing deals on products and local vendor samplings.
Shoppers can also participate in giveaways and raffles, including a $500 gift card up for grabs.
The reopening will mark Leg Up Farmers Market's eighth year in business. The business helps support Leg Up Farm, York's therapy center for children with special needs.
Throughout February, the market also participated in a fundraising event for Harvest of Blessing, a York food pantry looking for a new home.
