Lititz Fire and Ice Festival returns to Lancaster County

The 10-day celebration will feature kids' activities, ice sculptures, live carvings, specialty food and cocktails, live performances by local musicians and more.

LITITZ, Pa. — Lititz is bringing the heat and the cold to central Pennsylvania.

The Lititz Fire and Ice Festival kicks off on Friday at 4 p.m.

The 10-day celebration will feature kid-friendly activities, ice sculptures, live carvings, specialty food and cocktails, live performances by local musicians and food trucks.

The Winter FUNderland event will also be back. This kid-focused day will offer activities, bouncy attractions and more for children to enjoy.

Other returning events will include a scavenger hunt, a photography exhibit highlighting iconic Lititz images, the Maker’s Market and a Fire- and Ice-themed pub crawl.

And organizers didn't forget about the fire.

The Lititz Lions are holding their Chili Cook Off on Saturday. On Feb. 23 and 24, Miss Molly Dazzle will perform a fire show that combines the thrill of fire with awe-inspiring acrobatics.

Organizers say that around 40,000 people are expected to attend and help stimulate the local economy.

The Fire and Ice Festival kicks off on Friday, Feb. 16 and runs until Feb. 25.
