LANCASTER, Pa. — Fans of "Little House on the Prairie" flocked to the Farm & Home Center in Lancaster for the show's 50th anniversary reunion.
The line stretched nearly all the way to the prairie as fans eagerly awaited a chance to meet the cast and chat with some of the actors that appeared in the iconic show.
Attendees say it was amazing to connect with the cast, but more importantly, they got to connect with a community of fans.
"I've been a fan my whole life, and I didn't know that I had so many more people around me that felt the same way I did about the show," Trisha Novoa, a vendor and fan, said. "And it's so neat to see people and actually throughout the year, we've seen a lot of people that have attended multiple shows drive all over the country. They never get tired of it. They come, they've met a whole new family and a whole new community."
Yesterday's event also featured a dinner with the cast where they shared stories of working on the show. Those scheduled to appear included Dean Butler (Almanzo Wilder), Charlotte Stewart (Miss Beadle), Alison Arngrim (Nasty Nellie), Pamela Roylance (Sarah Carter), Wendi Lou Lee (Grace Ingalls), Jennifer Donati (baby Rose Wilder), Olivia Barash (Sylvia Webb) and Jennifer Steffin (Young Rose Wilder).
