Professional riders, horses gallop to the Pennsylvania National Horse Show for its 78th year

Hundreds of professional horseback riders will compete at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex from Oct. 10 - 20.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Talented equestrians are galloping into the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex this week to compete in the 78th Annual Pennsylvania National Horse Show.

The 11-day horse show spans from Oct. 10 through Oct. 20 where riders from all over the country will take part in jumper and hunter competitions.

Outside of the show ring, this year's horse show will also feature Family Fun Day from 1 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12. 

General spectator admission is free for nine days of the 11-day horse show, with tickets for the $30,000 Commonwealth Classic and the $100,000 Grand Prix de Penn National available for purchase.
