RONKS, Pa. — Need plans for this weekend? Look no further, as it’s the 15th annual Pumpkin Madness Festival hosted by Cherry Crest Adventure Farms in Lancaster County.
It’s an event featuring all things pumpkins to keep you in the fall spirit and even relive some stress.
At the Pumpkin Madness Festival, you can find everything from delicious apple cider donuts to apple cider sundaes all the way to pumpkin darts and a Pumpkin Smash that features a 2,000-pound pumpkin.
There is a packed schedule of pumpkin destruction the whole family can participate in. Guests can volunteer their old pumpkins as victims or choose pumpkins supplied by the farm. Either way, Cherry Crest says to be prepared for full pumpkin destruction!
The farm venue is also open for guests to enjoy over 60 farm fun activities, games and rides, including its Discovery Barn and Animal Experience Center, Country Pig Races, Shootin’ Gallery and five-acre interactive Amazing Maize Maze. You can either purchase tickets at the door or online, where prices will be discounted.
The farm is open from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., and special pumpkin activities are from 1 - 6 p.m. For more information on the festival, click here.
