MOUNTVILLE, Pa. — If you want to be scared for Halloween, you can always count on local haunted houses and attractions to deliver the thrills.
But how do these "scream actors" get ready every night?
FOX43's Tyler Hatfield traveled to Mountville, Lancaster County to learn how to put the screams in Field of Screams.
Tyler learned from Tanner Schopf, head of actor services at Field of Screams. Schopf explained how the actors are assigned a haunted attraction each night. He also showed Tyler the costume and make-up process.
"The system is just fluid and everyone comes in and they’re in and out," said Schopf. "We have 150 to 200 actors to process and they have to be ready when we open."
