HERSHEY, Pa. — Global sensation Green Day will rock out Hersheypark Stadium in 2024, Hershey Entertainment announced today.
Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool will hit the Hershey stage on Aug. 10, 2024, as part of the North American leg of their global "The Saviors Tour." The band will perform some of their hits from throughout the decades along with new songs from their recently announced album, "Saviors," which is expected to be released on Jan. 19, 2024.
The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and The Linda Lindas will support the tour in North America. Green Day embarks on their journey on May 30, kicking off the tour in Europe.
"The tour will be a larger-than-life, career-spanning celebration of one of the biggest musical acts of all time and some of the most important albums in history," Hershey Entertainment said in a press release.
Next year will mark the 30th anniversary of Green Day’s 1994 certified Diamond album, “Dookie,” and the 20th anniversary of 2004’s juggernaut, “American Idiot.”
General ticket sales begin Friday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m. local time at GreenDay.com.
