Pumpkin Palooza returns to Hershey Gardens

This year features over 200 hand-painted pumpkins, a pumpkin arch, a 14-foot pumpkin tree and three pumpkin mosaics.

HERSHEY, Pa. — Hershey Gardens wants to welcome the fall season with the return of Pumpkin Palooza.

Starting on Saturday, families can visit the gardens and see more than 200 pumpkins hand-painted by art students at Bishop McDevitt High School, Hershey High School, Lower Dauphin High School and Milton Hershey School.

Guests can also walk under a pumpkin arch, stare in awe at a 14-foot pumpkin tree and study three pumpkin mosaics.

But there's more than just pumpkins at the Gardens.

Families can also see 1,400 blooming mums and displays of gourds, hay bales and ornamental grasses. Kids are encouraged to dress in costume and will receive candy, courtesy of The Hershey Company.

Guests can also interact with live animals in the Creepy Creatures Gallery, such as tarantulas, cockroaches, various frog species, walking sticks, jungle nymphs and more. Special guests include PA Bat Rescue with live bats and creatures from ZooAmerica.
