DENVER, Pa. — Just in time for Spooky Season, two monstrously challenging miniature golf courses are opening at a former Lancaster County landmark.
Out of the Park, featuring Monster Mash Mini-Golf, is opening its doors to the public on Friday, its owner said in a press release.
The two Halloween-themed, 18-hole mini-golf courses are located at former Zinns Park in Denver, which closed in 2010 after years of neglect.
The venue is returning to the community as part of the Out of the Park sports complex, located at 2090 North Reading Road in Denver.
The two 18-hole mini-golf courses feature eerie decorations, blood-stained water features, glow-in-the-dark items, pumpkins, and terrifying monsters lurking around every corner, and promises to be a "spooktacular experience" for guests of all ages.
"After years of anticipation, we can't wait to welcome back families and friends to enjoy the fun and excitement that has been missing from our community," said Erich Lichtner with Out of the Park.
Monster Mash Mini-Golf will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
Visitors are invited to check out the concession stand once their round is over. The stand features warm hot chocolate and delicious bread pudding, among other tasty treats.
