LOS ANGELES — Summer Movie Season is almost here, and Regal Cinemas is offering a great way for families to enjoy some inexpensive entertainment.
The movie theater chain announced it is offering $1 movies as part of its Summer Movie Express promotion.
"Summer is here, school is out, and this is your chance to spend some extra time with your kids," Regal said on its website. "If you’re looking for affordable family activities, don’t miss Regal’s Summer Movie Express!"
During the summer, families can score $1 tickets to a number of family movies every Tuesday and Wednesday, starting at 11 a.m.
The Summer Movie Express runs through August 7.
Among the eligible movies on the Summer Movie Express are "Despicable Me 3," "Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway," "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" and "PAW Patrol: The Movie."

In addition to $1 movies, Regal is also offering a $5 Snack Pack, which includes a junior-sized drink, popcorn, and fruit snacks. Fans can also enjoy an optional $3 Dippin' Dots add-on.
