Celtic rockers the Dropkick Murphys announce tour stop in Lancaster next year

Known for their hit "I'm Shipping Up to Boston," the Celtic punk band will play in the Lancaster Convention Center on March 5, 2024.

LANCASTER, Pa. — Dropkick Murphys announced they're shipping down to Lancaster.

The Celtic punk rockers will visit the Red Rose City during their "St. Patrick's Day Tour 2024," performing at the Lancaster County Convention Center's Freedom Hall.

The show is scheduled for 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

Joining them will be special guests Pennywise and The Scratch, the Dropkick Murphys announced on their website and social media accounts.

Best-known for their hits "I'm Shipping Up to Boston", "Rose Tattoo", and "Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya,", as well as their holiday classic "The Season's Upon Us", this will be the band's first visit to Lancaster since 2019. 

Tickets will be available beginning Friday at 10 a.m.; there is no word on pricing at this time.
