LANCASTER, Pa. — Editor's note: The above video is from July 2023.
The Long's Park Summer Music Series last week released its lineup for the 2024 season, which kicks off June 2.
The free concerts run from 7:30 to 9 p.m. through August 18, with a few exceptions noted below, organizers said.
There will be food trucks on-site every week.
Here's the lineup:
June 2: Monophonics
Described as a "psychedelic soul band," the San Francisco-based Monophonics' latest release, "Sage Motel," is a concept album that attempts to describe what the walls of a once-thriving hotel would say.
The album's lead single, "War Paint," appears below.
June 9: Good Shot Judy
Described as "the Mid-Atlantic's No. 1 high-octane swing band," the 11-member Good Shot Judy will bring its blend of vocal jazz and nightclub swing to the Long's Park Amphitheater on June 9.
June 16: Snacktime
A seven-piece brass street band based in Philadelphia, Snacktime has performed a number of sold-out concerts in Philadelphia, New York and Los Angeles, and now Long's Park.
June 23: Carolyn Wonderland
A blues artist, Carolyn Wonderland has gotten praise from legendary musician Bob Dylan, along with a plethora of critics.
Her latest album is called "Tempting Fate."
June 30: The U.S. Army Band, Pershing's Own
The Summer Music Series' most-popular yearly feature is its patriotic concert and fireworks show, headlined by the U.S. Army Band, Pershing's Own.
This concert will begin at 8 p.m. instead of the normal 7:30 start time.
July 7: 'A Night in Nashville,' featuring Jeff Cohen, Brett Sheroky and The Close
A night of Nashville-inspired country music will feature three performers, including former Franklin & Marshall College student Jeff Cohen.
Singer-songwriter Brett Sheroky has written songs for musicians like Blake Shelton and Jake Owen. The Close is a Nashville-based multi-genre band. This concert will start at 7 p.m.
July 14: Marc Broussard
Marc Broussard will bring a little bit of the bayou to the Long's Park Amphitheater. He's known for his performances on many late-night TV shows, including "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," and "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
July 21: Ramon Chicharron
He hails from Canada, but Ramon Chicharron's musical influences range from Latin to Caribbean. Chicharron's latest album, "Destello de estrellas," was voted 2023 Album of the Year at the Latin Awards Canada awards ceremony.
July 28: Watkins Glen Tribute
In 1973, the Allman Brothers Band, the Grateful Dead, and The Band played a famous show at Watkins Glen speedway, called the Summer Jam. It drew an estimated 600,000 fans to New York's Finger Lakes region, a popular stop for jam bands ever since.
The Long's Park concert will feature tribute bands covering all three acts. The concert will begin at 7 p.m.
Aug. 4: The Sensational Barnes Brothers
A gospel, soul and blues-loving duo, the Sensational Barnes Brothers pay respect to the legends that came before them while staying true to their own sound.
Aug. 11: The U.S. Air Force Band, Max Impact
Nothing says "rock and roll" quite like the U.S. Air Force. The armed forces own rock band, Max Impact, features Lancaster County's own Andy Mowatt, who joined the band in 2021.
Aug. 18: Della Mae
A Grammy-nominated, all-women bluegrass band, Della Mae will perform the last concert of the concert series.
