GRANTVILLE, Pa. — Editor's note: The above video is from Jan. 3.
After the end of a decade-long hiatus, heavy metal band Mudvayne is once again touring.
They will stop in central Pennsylvania on May 11 to rock out the Hollywood Casino stage in Grantville as part of the business's summer concert series.
Known for their sonic experimentation, face and body paint, masks and uniforms, the band has sold over six million records worldwide, including nearly three million in the United States, the casino said. Their performance style is described as “music first, visuals second.”
The group consists of guitarist Greg Tribbett, drummer Matthew McDonough, lead vocalist Chad Gray and bassist Ryan Martinie. Originating from Peoria, Illinois, the American heavy metal band combines alternative metal, nu metal, progressive metal and hard rock.
After taking a hiatus in 2010, the band reunited in 2021 to once again do live touring.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on March 1.
