Weekend? What's that?
We know you've had the kids home all week, so every day has felt like a cross between Saturday and the longest Tuesday imaginable. What better way for your kids to pass the time than with a little competition and bribery>
If you're a family who loves food, channel your inner Bobby Flay and turn your kids into your own personal Iron Chefs. Have a cooking competition, like Chopped, where you give them a basket of good and let them go to town making whatever they want. Probably want to avoid any meat to be safe.
Another thing you could do involves some nicer weather and a backyard. Grab a bunch of sticks and logs, and build your very own bonfire. Grab some bricks or stones and set them in a circle, then build the fire inside. The best part about making a fire? S'mores! You can even camp out under the stars. If you don't have a backyard, or if the weather is crummy, fire up the stove and cook some s'mores inside, then lay out the sleeping bags and pitch some blanket tents in the living room and have your own little camp-in.
Lastly, Friday, March 27 is World Theater Day! Even though Broadway is shutdown because of COVID-19, jam out to your favorite musical showtunes or find a copy online of a classic play.
