LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — One Lancaster County borough is warning its residents to be on the lookout for "very aggressive" skunks.
Officials with Akron Borough posted on Facebook to warn the community that someone in the Borough contacted them to report the skunks. One of the skunks has red around its mouth and has been trying to attack the person's dogs, authorities said.
The skunks were spotted in the area of East End Avenue and Park Street.
"If you see these skunks, please use extreme caution and contact the PA Game Commission to report," Akron Borough said on Facebook.
Anyone who encounters the skunks can fill out a Wildlife Health Survey online.
