Bald eagle rescued in Lebanon County

The injured bald eagle was taken to an eagle rescue facility for treatment and recovery.

LEBANON, Pa. — A bald eagle was rescued and saved after being found injured at a park on Friday.

On March 8, police got a call about an injured animal at Coleman Park on West Maple Street.

When police arrived at the park, they discovered an injured bald eagle. 

With help from the Pennsylvania State Game Commission, the eagle was secured and taken to an eagle rescue facility for treatment and recovery.
