PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Attention candy enthusiasts, a new product is bringing nostalgia back on the market!
Candy lovers who have missed Altoids Sours for more than a decade will be excited about the news of its revival.
The independent brand Iconic Candy announced on Facebook that it will be bringing Altoids Sours back, albeit under the new name of Retro Sours. The candy will be available in the iconic citrus, tangerine and mango flavors.
According to Sporked, the recipe is exactly the same between old and new, as well as the original round tin-case packaging. Iconic Candy specializes in reissuing candy that has since been discontinued by its respective brands. However, it mentions that "Iconic Candy, LLC is not connected with the manufacturer of the original product nor Altoids or Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company."
The candy will be sold in all Cracker Barrel and It's Sugar locations, according to Sporked. Per the Iconic Candy website, the candy sold out within minutes- but will be back in stock online soon!
