YORK, Pa. —
Hands-on activities can help get kids excited about upcoming events.
As Easter approaches, Party Host Helpers has a few fun craft ideas for families to try.
Renee Patrone Rhinehart, founder and CEO, demonstrates the following crafts in the video above.
Hand-cut bunnies
All you need is construction paper and your little ones hand to make this craft! Use markers or crayons to decorate and create a bunny face, and you have the perfect Easter craft for loved ones.
Edible Easter baskets
Grab your favorite boxes of theater candy or Reese's Cup packages, two Laffy Taffy or Nerd Ropes, cardboard, fake grass and glue. Fill the basket with eggs and other gifts or candy.
Chocolate bunny in a jar
You will need a big mason jar, Easter chocolate foil-wrapped eggs or Robins Eggs, one chocolate bunny and a ribbon or bow. This can be a pretty way to display your chocolate candy for loved ones, and Rhinehart says adults like this too!
Peeps in a vase
Grab two vases that fit inside of each other, two to three packs of different colored Peeps and fresh flowers! This craft is perfect to give as a hostess gift this year or for a beautiful Easter brunch centerpiece.
