Police say a rollover vehicle crash involving two children serves as a reminder of the importance of child car seats.
On Nov. 25, first responders were called to a two-vehicle crash on York Road at Lititz Pike in Manheim Township.
At the scene, crews found one of the cars on its roof.
Police said the overturned car belonged to a family of four, which included two children.
Officials stated that due to the children being properly secured with a seatbelt and child car seat, they didn't suffer any serious injuries.
According to police, the accident is a reminder that properly restraining children in a correctly installed car seat can make the difference between going home or going to the hospital.
Local police departments, along with the State Police, have officers who are trained to install child car seats correctly.
