PENNSYLVANIA, USA — The age-old question: Italian ice or water ice?
Regardless of where you stand on that issue, Rita's is bringing everyone together by offering free 6-ounce cups of ice to ring in the first day of spring on March 19!
Guests can pick from any available flavors, including their latest addition, SOUR PATCH KIDS Watermelon Ice.
According to a press release, SOUR PATCH KIDS Watermelon Ice will only be available at Rita's for a limited time. The new flavor can be enjoyed as a Gelati served with vanilla custard and as a Watermelon Ice Blender. Additionally, Rita's is offering a new sour watermelon topping to go alongside the new Ice.
"Our first day of spring giveaway has become a cherished tradition with our guests, and this year, we're elevating the celebration with the exclusive launch of SOUR PATCH KIDS Watermelon Ice," said Linda Chadwick, President and CEO of Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard.
"At Rita's, our guests inspire us to push our flavor innovation further each year and we are thrilled to partner with the SOUR PATCH KIDS brand to deliver this unique take on a sour-then-sweet- favorite in only a way Rita's can," she continued. Rita's 550+ locations are expecting to give away approximately 1 million cups of Ice throughout the day, the press release stated.
