YORK COUNTY, Pa. — It's National Apple Day, but the 2024 elections aren't too far from anyone's mind.
In fact, Brown's Orchards & Farm Market is holding their "Appl-E-Lection" to let children choose their favorite apple.
Every four years, a little voting booth is set up in the produce room of the market, and an offering of four different color apples are presented for selection.
However, they aren't just apples, but in fact, each of the fruits has their own name and personality, helping really slice up the difference between the candidates.
Here are the apples up for election:
Brown's Orchards & Farm Market grows 22 different kinds of apples, and they sell over 1,600 caramel and candy apples each fall.
Mary Brown, the owner of Brown's Orchards & Farm Market, stopped by the FOX43 kitchen to show off their selection.
