Taco Bell announces dollar tacos for National Taco Day

The fast food chain will offer $1 tacos every hour from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

UNITED STATES, — This October will give new meaning to "Taco Tuesday." 

After being celebrated on Oct. 4 every year, Taco Bell has teamed up with the National Day Calendar to change National Taco Day to the first Tuesday of October. This means that the holiday will fall on Tuesday, Oct. 1 this year. 

“For years, we’ve celebrated National Taco Day on October 4th, but it’s always felt like there was a bigger opportunity to align it with something even more special—Taco Tuesday,” Marlo Anderson, founder of National Day Calendar, said in a press release. “Thanks to Taco Bell's efforts, we’re excited to officially move National Taco Day to the first Tuesday in October, creating the Taco Tuesday of all Taco Tuesdays."

To celebrate, Taco Bell has announced that it will be selling one-dollar tacos each hour from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The tacos sold during each hour will include: 

- 10 a.m.- Crunchy Taco

- 11 a.m.- Double Stacked Taco

- 12 p.m.-  Chalupa Supreme 

- 1 p.m.- Nacho Cheese Doritos® Locos Tacos

- 2 p.m.- Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco 

- 3 p.m.- Cantina Chicken Soft Taco

- 4 p.m.- Soft Taco Supreme 

- 5 p.m.- Cheesy Gordita Crunch 

- 6 p.m.- Crunchy Taco Supreme

- 7 p.m.- Soft Taco 

Taco Bell will be selling 10,000 of each taco during each hour.

In addition to National Taco Day, Taco Bell will be offering exclusive deals throughout October, including a VIP trip to its test kitchen, offering 500 Rewards Members free tacos every Tuesday for a year, one-dollar favorites and exclusive merch.
