PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar is celebrating back-to-back wins with a limited-time deal.
The Pittsburgh-based sandwich chain recently won its second "Coolest Thing Made in PA" title in two years. The bracket-style contest featured 64 popular Pa. brands and was organized by the Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce.
To celebrate the win, Primanti Bros. is offering Almost Famous sandwiches for just two cents at all locations from Friday, April 19 through Sunday, April 21.
In order to snag the deal, customers must first purchase one sandwich at full price.
“Win once - maybe it's a fluke. Win twice - and maybe we really are the coolest thing made in Pennsylvania," said Adam Golomb, the CEO of Primanti Bros. “We’re excited to offer this awesome deal to all the fans who voted us to victory.”
The two-cent sandwich deal will be honored at all Primanti Bros. locations and is available for dine-in or take-out. Customers will need to visit the Primanti Bros. website to grab the coupon or use code 2CENTS for online orders.
“It’s really a great way for us to cap off what was a year-long celebration of our 90th Anniversary,” said Golomb. “We are honored that our home state of Pennsylvania is still rooting for us.”
Votes were collected on the Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce's social channels and Primanti Bros. topped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in the final.
