YORK, Pa. — Winter is over, which means spring cocktails are taking over!
Drew Cottle from Fine Wine & Good Spirits shares some drink recipes that will have your taste buds hopping after a cold few months.
Daisy Spring Spritz (April’s Cocktail of the Month)
Ingredients
- Blueberry ice cubes*
- 3 ounces, Natura Organic Sauvignon Blanc
- 2 teaspoons, Rose’s Sweetened Lime Juice
- 1 ounce, Montezuma Triple Sec
- Q Club Soda
- Lemon twist, for garnish
- Blueberries, for garnish
Directions
- Fill a wineglass with blueberry ice.
- Add the next three ingredients to the wineglass.
- Top the drink with club soda.
- Garnish the cocktail with a skewered lemon twist and blueberries.
*Blueberry ice cubes: Fill an ice tray with sauvignon blanc and blueberries; freeze.
Spring & Stormy
Ingredients
- 6 raspberries, plus more for garnish
- 4 mint leaves, plus mint sprig, for garnish
- 1 ½ ounces, Goslings Black Seal Black Rum
- ½ ounce, simple syrup
- ½ ounce, fresh lemon juice
- 2 ounces, Goslings Ginger Beer
Directions
- Muddle the first two ingredients in a shaker, then add the next three ingredients.
- Shake and pour the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.
- Top the drink with ginger beer; stir gently.
- Garnish the cocktail with raspberries and a mint sprig.
Meili Fizz
Instructions
- 2 ounces, Meili Vodka*
- 3 ounces, grapefruit juice
- 1 ounce, simple syrup
- Club soda
- Grapefruit slices
- Rosemary sprig
Directions
- Combine the first three ingredients in a shaker filled with ice.
- Shake and strain the mixture into a wineglass filled with fresh ice.
- Top the drink with club soda.
- Garnish the cocktail with grapefruit slices and a rosemary sprig.
