HERSHEY, Pa. — Just in time for holiday revelry, Tröegs Independent Brewing announced it's bringing back The Most Wonderful Beer of the Year, a festive variety pack perfect for celebrating the season.
The focal point of this 12-pack is the Hershey-based brewery’s iconic holiday ale, Mad Elf. Brewed with five varieties of cherries and Pennsylvania wildflower honey, this beloved beer helped put Tröegs on the craft beer map.
Joining Mad Elf this year are three beers exclusive to the pack:
- Naked Elf, a stripped-down version of Mad Elf without the cherries, honey, and chocolate malt
- Gingerbread Cookie Stout, a chewy, dark beer that harkens back to grandma’s time-honored cookie recipes
- Mad Dreams, a delicious blend of Mad Elf and year-round favorite DreamWeaver Wheat, appearing for the first time in cans
The Most Wonderful Beer of the Year variety pack is perfect for sharing at holiday gatherings, and it makes a great holiday gift for beer lovers, Tröegs said in a press release.
“This pack is all about celebrating with family and friends,” said Tröegs co-founding brother Chris Trogner. “It’s a taste of the holidays all wrapped up in one convenient box!”
For IPA lovers, Tröegs also offers its rotating Perpetual Exploration variety 12-pack. The current pack for winter includes four of its favorite hoppy offerings: Perpetual IPA, the best-selling craft beer in Pennsylvania; the wildly popular new year-round Graffiti Highway IPA; the silky smooth LolliHop Double IPA; and the brewery’s longest-running seasonal beer, Blizzard of Hops Winter IPA.
Both variety packs are available now at Tröegs Brewery and across its entire distribution footprint.
