HERSHEY, Pa. — Tröegs Independent Brewing on Tuesday announced the release of Freaky Squeeze, a new line of alcoholic drinks made with real fruit.
The Hershey-based brewery said it is leading with two mouthwatering flavors: Black Cherry Limeade and Peach Orangeade.
“Freaky Squeeze is what happens when you’ve got a team obsessed with finding delicious flavor combinations,” said Tröegs co-founding brother and brewmaster John Trogner. “As with everything we make, we're proud to use exceptional ingredients and innovative techniques in these two beverages.”
Freaky Squeeze uses cane sugar and malted barley fermentation combined with real fruit to create a juicy, bright, and refreshing beverage. Unlike seltzers, Freaky Squeeze boasts a much fuller, authentic fruit flavor with softer carbonation, hint of tartness, and beautiful color, Tröegs said.
At 5.5% ABV, Freaky Squeeze Spiked Black Cherry Limeade and Peach Orangeade are perfect for any occasion and best served over ice.
“The drive to create is behind everything we do here,” said Trogner. “We let our curiosity run wild with Freaky Squeeze, because Tröegs is more than just beer. It’s adventure, creativity, and like-minded people.”
Both varieties of Freaky Squeeze are available year-round in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans wherever Tröegs is sold. Look for its vibrant packaging in retailers alongside other hard beverages and teas.
