HARRISBURG, Pa. — The eighth annual Fill a Glass with Hope campaign kicked off at the Pennsylvania Farm Show on Friday, with a donation of more than $135,500.
Organizers say that money was raised during the Feeding Pennsylvania fundraising launch.
Donations will go toward helping families across the Commonwealth who struggle with getting food on the table.
Those involved say Fill a Glass with Hope has provided more than 36 million servings of fresh milk to those who need it most. The effort gives back to nine food banks across the Keystone State.
Super Bowl champion and former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch helped kick off this year's campaign.
You can donate at the Pennsylvania Dairymen's Association milkshake booth or the Calving Corner through the end of the Farm Show.
But if you can't make it, you can always donate online.
