YORK, Pa. — A bakery in York is offering a free sweet treat for hardworking students.
Crystal Caron owns The Sugar Rose Bake Shop on Greensprings Drive in York.
She's offering free cupcakes to students in kindergarten through 12th grade who are excelling in the classroom.
"Just bring their child, their report card and they can pick out any cupcake that they like," said Crystal Caron.
And your child doesn't need to have straight As to earn their cupcake.
"If you know your kid is working really hard and they have straight C's, but that's working really hard for them, then they should be supported," said Caron.
While Caron says her small business would certainly appreciate it, a purchase is not required to get the free cupcake.
The Sugar Rose Bake Shop is open Tuesday through Saturday, each week.
