PENNSYLVANIA, USA — It's an age-old debate...when does the Christmas season actually start?
For some, the kickoff is marked by hearing that first Christmas song on the radio.
Here are the stations playing Christmas music already:
SiriusXM kicked off the holiday season on Nov. 1 with a festive lineup featuring 26 holiday channels. That includes the new Jimmy Fallon's Holiday Seasoning Radio. According to the SiriusXM website, the channel features a mix of holiday classics picked by Fallon himself, including his '12 Days of Christmas.'
Other channels in the SiriusXM holiday lineup include "'70s/'80s Holidays," "Acoustic Christmas," "Hallmark Radio," "Kids Christmas," and more. The music spans all different genres and across several decades.
In central Pa., WARM 103.3 has hinted that it may start playing holiday music very soon, asking its listeners in a Nov. 4 Facebook post what they think the first song played will be.
Thanksgiving is set for Nov. 28, with Christmas less than a month after that.
