DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — The Milton Hershey School in Dauphin County held its annual Christmas workshop, which gives students a chance to get gifts for their loved ones this holiday season.
The workshop offers students the chance to purchase quality gifts for a low price thanks to Hershey school staff members, who donated the items.
Organizers say it's all about spreading holiday cheer.
"We want to make sure that they are getting the same kind of experience that other kids get in public schools. This is just another way for them to feel like a normal kid," said Alina Reed, an HRA analyst.
At only $2 per gift, organizers add the workshop helps kids shop for the holiday while also learning to budget.
The workshop runs through Tuesday evening.
