EXTON, Pa. — Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant is putting on their dad shoes this weekend with specials to celebrate Father's Day.
The eatery will bring back crowd favorite "Dad's Got Jokes" Juicy Lager, a beer brewed with actual dad jokes spelled out in hops. The beer is crafted with a blend of malt, flaked oats and hops and infused with Omega’s Lunar Crush yeast for tropical fruit hints.
"It's a 'lawnmower beer,' is what the brewers call it," Brendan Mullan, Iron Hill's corporate executive chef, said. "Which is like a lower ABV, kind of a session beer. It's a juicy lager. And they spelled out some dad jokes in hops and then poured them into the tank so it's brewed with dad jokes."
Dads can also refuel with a special prime rib dish served on Sunday, June 16. The meal comes with a twice-baked potato, buttery broccoli, au jus and horseradish sauce.
