Dauphin County museum showcases nostalgic holiday cheer

Guests can enjoy over 18,000 square feet of nostalgic Christmas décor in lights, trees and artifacts in Londonderry Township.

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — It's a gift from Christmas past!

The National Christmas Center Museum is officially open in Dauphin County. Guests can enjoy over 18,000 square feet of nostalgic Christmas décor in lights, trees and artifacts in Londonderry Township.

New in 2024 is a display by artist Dolph Gotelli, internationally known as the Father of Christmas due to his vintage collection of Christmas objects.

Staff members say there's something for everyone at the museum.

"When you walk around, it's so cool to see old, young, everybody seeing things, pointing at things and remembering something from their childhood Christmas," said Cameron Norris, the general manager for Stone Gables Estate, which runs the center.

The National Christmas Center Museum will be open throughout December and the beginning of January.

Because of parking, people visiting the center are encouraged to park at Stone Gables Estate on Industrial Road in Elizabethtown. Shuttles will be available there from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
