HARRISBURG, Pa. — Ollie's Bargain Outlet in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County invited local students and U.S Marines to go on a shopping spree for families in need.
Students from Steelton-Highspire School District were partnered with a Marine and given $1,000 to to shop for toys and other items.
The shopping spree took place at 7 a.m.
Since their partnership with the Marines' Toys for Tots initiative, Ollie's Bargain Outlet has raised over $2.8 million for families in need.
Customers can still donate to the current Toys for Tots campaign through Dec. 2.
