Volunteers unload more than a thousand wreaths at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery

Wreaths Across America volunteers arrived at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Friday to prepare for laying wreaths on fallen veterans' graves.

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. — More than a thousand wreaths arrived by the truckload on Friday morning to prepare for the Wreaths Across America ceremony at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

On Saturday, volunteers will honor fallen veterans by placing a wreath on each grave and reading their nameas out loud.

Wreaths Across America is a nonprofit organization with more than 2 million volunteers and supporters nationwide. They'll gather to remember, honor and teach at more than 4,000 locations in all 50 states, at sea and abroad.

Volunteers arrived on Friday to unload the wreaths at 9 a.m.

The ceremony on Saturday will take place at noon, followed by the wreath placement immediately after.
