HERSHEY, Pa. — The 40th annual Orchid Show and Sale kicks off at Hershey Gardens this weekend.
Starting on Friday, Feb. 2, guests can see thousands of different varieties and species of orchids being showcased inside the Milton and Catherine Hershey Conservatory.
This year will feature rare and unique hybrid species including Cattleyas, Dendrobriums, Vandas, Oncidiums and Phragmipediums.
Guests can also learn a thing or two about orchid care while visiting the show and sale.
They can bring their own orchids and get assistance at two help stations. The “Repot Spot” will help guests with repotting and dividing their orchids. At the “Ask the Orchid Experts” station, visitors can receive advice on growing orchids.
The show runs Friday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The show is sponsored by the Susquehanna Orchid Society.
