YORK COUNTY, Pa. — This week's Furry Friend is Bethany, a 7-month-old Border Collie mix brought to us by Animal Rescue Inc.
She was saved from a puppy mill and is the last of her litter to be adopted. This patient pup could be the perfect addition to your family.
Bethany is playful, affectionate and smart. Like any puppy, she has her moments of mischief, so she'll need a family with patience to learn and grow. She enjoys running, going on walks and playing with toys, so she'll need an active family and a fenced in yard to roam.
She's also good with kids, other dogs, is crate-trained and house-broken.
Animal Rescue Inc. saved Bethany and six other dogs that were found in chicken coup at a puppy mill. Due to her history, it will take her a little bit to warm up, but she's already making great strides. Her foster parent says once she gets comfortable, she's a love bug.
Bethany even knows a few tricks, like sit, and she is working on "leave it."
If you think Bethany would be a good fit for you and your family, you can fill out an adoption application here.
