Furry Friends with Jack, the cat!

Jack has been waiting for his forever family to come pick him up at the Pet Pantry of Lancaster County after his previous owner became unable to care for him.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — This week's Furry Friend is Jack, the cat!

Jack is about 3 years old. He was originally adopted when he was about 3 months old, but his owner became unable to care for him and brought him back to the Pet Pantry of Lancaster County, where he has been waiting to find his forever family.

When Jack came back to the shelter, staff realized he had blood in his urine. The exact cause is unknown; his care team believes it may be related to stress. Jack is feeling better after receiving antibiotics and a specialty diet, but he still has blood in his urine that will need to be closely monitored by a vet.

Jack is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines.

He is waiting at the Pet Pantry's main location at 26 Millersville Road in Lancaster for his forever family to pick him up. To learn more about Jack, click here. To fill out an adoption application, click here.
