Furry Friends with Autumn, the dog!

Autumn is a sweet and energetic dog who's been looking for her forever family since November at the York County SPCA.

YORK, Pa. — This week's Furry Friend is Autumn, brought to us by the York County SPCA

Autumn is a 5-year-old pit mix who has been on the hunt for her forever family since November. This makes her the second longest resident at the shelter.

Autumn arrived at the York County SPCA as a stray. While there isn't much known about her past, shelter staff now know that she is a sweet and energetic dog. They've learned that she loves to play and run around in the yard. Another trait of this girl is that she loves to talk and can be quite the chatterbox.

Autumn recently got to take a day trip out of the shelter and enjoyed sticking her head out of the car window, chowing down on a pup cup, and did a great job meeting new people. She's a very friendly dog! Volunteers say that this trip out of the shelter show's Autumn's adaptable nature, making her ready for the next chapter in her life.

Because Autumn is a long-term resident, her adoption fee is waived. All she needs is her forever family to pick her up.

You can apply to adopt Autumn on the York County SPCA's website or drop by during public browsing hours, which are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
