YORK, Pa. — This week's Furry Friend is Violet, brought to us by the York County SPCA.
Violet is estimated to be 5 years old and is a bully mix. She has been at the York County SPCA for nearly a year. And while she's currently living with a foster family, she's looking to find her permanent place in the world.
Her foster family says that Violet loves to go on car rides and long walks. She enjoys to explore new sights and smells. Violet has excellent leash skills and is very obedient too.
At home, Violet is a laid back girl and a cuddle enthusiast. And while Violet loves to love on her humans, she doesn't share the same affection with other pets. She will need to be the only animal in her home.
Because Violet is a long term resident at the shelter, her adoption fee is currently waived. If you're interested in applying to meet this sweet dog, you can submit an application and schedule a meet and greet on the York County SPCA's website.
The York County SPCA is also open for public browsing between 10 am and 2 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
