This week's Furry Friend is Aurora, the dog!

Aurora is the best of both worlds. She loves to zoom and play hard outside. She then crashes and become the ultimate snuggle bug indoors.

LANCASTER, Pa. — This week’s Furry Furry Friend is Aurora, brought to us by Charlie’s Crusaders Pet Rescue. Aurora is a 4-year-old treeing walker coonhound mix whose foster mom, Emily Breslin, describes as both snuggly and energetic, the best of both worlds.

“If you’re working from home, she likes to just hangout while you work," Breslin tells FOX43. "But she does really enjoy zooming around outside with her doggie friends that live next door. Then once she’s inside she just wants to chill and hangout.”

Breslin says Aurora has been the best work from home buddy during their few weeks together so far. She will be a great shadow dog for someone looking for a companion.

“I think someone that’s going to be around a lot that wants to have a little Velcro dog to be around and give lots of snuggles and hugs. She really likes affection and will come in close for affection," says Breslin.

Aurora would do well with kids, as long as they’re dog savvy and comfortable with her running around outdoors. She would also love to have a dog sibling or dogs nearby that she can run around with.

Aurora is working on her tricks and knows basic commands like sit and shake.

Breslin argues that Aurora is one of the cutest dogs you'll ever meet.

“I mean, those eyes, how can you resist hound dog eyes, right? Her ears are just amazing too. And they flop in the breeze all the time.”

If you're interested in adopting Aurora, you can fill out an application on Charlie's Crusaders Pet Rescue's website

The rescue is also hosting St. Pooch's Day Carnival at The Shops at Rockvale in Lancaster County this Saturday, March 23. You can meet Aurora and other adoptable dogs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will also be food trucks, bounce houses and other fun activities.
