YORK, Pa. — Our Furry Friend this week is Hercules, brought to us by the York County SPCA. Hercules is a 2-year-old male Pit Bull who has captured the hearts of the York County SPCA staff with his charming personality.
Staff say that Hercules is truly a people lover and that the pup will shower everyone he meets with affection. And while he loves his people and has an affectionate nature, he does need to be the only home in his new home.
Hercules is described as resilient and playful. He loves to go outside and play with his toys.
Hercules' future family would be best if they have larger-dog experience. As his name implies, Hercules is a very strong dog, though staff adds his heart is just as big as his muscular build.
The shelter is hoping Hercules can find his forever home for the paw-lidays! In an effort to do just that for Hercules and all the dogs in their care, the shelter is hosting a dog adoption event this Friday, Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with reduced adoption fees. All members of your family should make sure to come by and meet with your future family member to make sure you're a perfect match.
More information on Hercules and how you can apply to adopt him can be found on the York County SPCA's website.
