YORK, Pa. — This week's Furry Friend is Jedidiah, a 4-year-old pit mix from the York County SPCA.
Jedidiah is an energetic pup who thrives in the summertime when he can play outside and even jump in the pool. Along with swimming, he loves to go for walks and play with toys.
He's also highly food motivated and will take treats nicely.
Jedidiah has participated in the York County SPCA's Dogs' Day Out Program multiple times, where we've learned that he does well with children, other dogs and exploring new places.
Jedidiah has been at the shelter since October of last year, making him one of the longest-term residents. Because of this status, Jedidiah's adoption fee has been waived in hopes of getting him matched with his forever family soon.
If you're interested in adopting Jedidiah, you can apply on the York County SPCA's website.
Additionally, the shelter is open for public browsing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays if you want to go in person to meet Jedidiah and other adoptable pets.
