YORK, Pa. — This week's Furry Friend is Ragu, brought to us by the York County SPCA.
Ragu is an 8-year-old, lovable bully mix who was surrendered to the shelter in May. Now, he's on the hunt for his forever family to spend his golden years with.
Ragu is a smart dog who has mastered commands like sit, shake and lie down. Like all dogs, he could use some continued training on his manners. However, Ragu is sure to reward his new owners for their efforts with a lifetime of love and affection.
Despite Ragu's large size, he does well on a leash and would be a great adventure partner.
At this time, public browsing hours are closed at the York County SPCA until Thursday, July 25th due to parvovirus-positive dogs. If you're interested in adopting Ragu, you can fill out an application on the York County SPCA's website and they can schedule an appointment for you to meet.
All canine adoptions are half-price through July 20th by appointment only.
