YORK, Pa. — This week's Furry Friend is Voight, brought to us by the York County SPCA.
Voight was found as a stray in March and was brought to the shelter. He's been there ever since, making him one of their long-term residents.
Voight is an adult bully mix who shelter staff describe as laid back. He has a lot of love to give, but don't let the grey fur on his snout fool you. This dog still enjoys playing with toys, dipping his toes in the kiddie pool, and going for walks.
Voight even has excellent leash manners.
He is a smart dog who knows how to sit on command, especially if you have a treat.
In an effort to get Voight matched with his forever family soon, his adoption fee is currently waived.
You can learn more about Voight and fill out an adoption application for him on the York County SPCA's website.
The shelter is also back open for public browsing hours. People are invited to stop by and meet their new furry friend in person on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays anytime between 10 am and 2 pm.
